Complete guide and shoe configurations for Barmag take-up winder positions — high-purity 99.7% alumina ceramic guide paired with a matching nylon shoe reference.
Each take-up winder guide is manufactured in 99.7% purity alumina for wear resistance at the yarn contact surface, and paired with a nylon shoe sized to the exact base geometry and mounting pattern of the original assembly. Confirming base geometry, mounting pattern, ceramic profile and guide orientation before order prevents the most common cause of replacement mismatch: a guide that fits the winder but not the shoe, or vice versa.

Yes, but we recommend ordering the matched assembly reference (e.g. JV-1478) rather than the guide and shoe individually — this guarantees the base geometry and mounting pattern are compatible, which is the most common source of fitment issues.
Send the machine model, take-up position and — ideally — the existing part reference, a photograph, or the worn component itself. We compare overall geometry, mounting holes, guide diameter and shoe base dimensions against our reference set before confirming a match.
All guides in this range are 99.7% alumina. At this purity the ceramic offers high wear resistance at the yarn-contact surface, which is the primary failure point on a take-up winder guide under continuous running.
